UK house prices continue to rise, jumping an average of £6,647

House prices in the UK have grown an average of 1.8% Month-on-Month with Scotland seeing the best rise.

According to Rightmove the average UK property now has an asking price of £372,894. Properties across the country have risen an average of 1.8% month-on-month, but the real estate agent did stress that buyer affordability remains stretched with interest rate prices where they currently are. The number of buyers making inquiries has risen roughly 3% in comparison to the same time in 2019 led by a wave of first-time buyers.

On average it is now taking 67 days to agree on a sale of a property, with Scotland taking the lead at just 33 days, and as a result, Scotland is also seeing the best yearly change in house prices too at 4.9% YoY. Below shows a depiction of average house prices per region:
